  • Retarding admixtures extend the setting time of gypsum and maintain the workability and cohesion for extended period of time

  • In the large construction projects, gypsum retarder prevents cold joints formation in successive lifts and make gypsum workable throughout the gypsum placing

  • With the use of gypsum retarders, you can compensate for the accelerating effect of high temperature towards the initial setting time and minimise risks of long-distance delivery in hot weather.

  • Use of retarding admixtures improves pumpability of gypsum by delayed setting period and improved workability of concrete.

Proper doses of WATER Reducing Super Plasticiser RXSOL-67-6706-020 ensures that workable in excess 3 hours at +20°C. Workability loss is dependent on temperature, and on the type of cement, the nature of aggregates, the method of transport and initial workability.

Gypsum should be properly cured particularly in hot and dry climates.
