Description
It is also used as a Powerful Drying Agent, or Desiccant, in commercial and industrial usage. It is also useful for the construction of Gas Masks. It plays an essential role for the measurement of soil carbon dioxide efflux upon absorption. It is also useful for direct measurement of dissolved carbon dioxide.
Application
Soda-Lime is a mixture of chemicals, used in granular form in closed breathing environments, such as general anesthesia, submarines, rebreathers, recompression chambers, respiratory therapy departments and xenon delivery systems, to remove carbon dioxide from breathing gases to prevent CO2 retention and carbon dioxide
Precautions
RXSOL-81-8197-025 absorbent is intended for the absorption of carbon dioxide in helium-oxygen breathing systems, hyperbaric chambers, and rebreathers in underwater diving. Its also removes CO2 from breathable gases in: MEDICAL, MILITARY, DIVING, MINING and SAFETY APPLICATIONS.
