Description
Impregnated Alumina is a highly effective chemical adsorption media designed for the removal of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), sulfur compounds, formaldehyde, ammonia, mercaptans, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other hazardous gases from air and gas streams. The product consists of high-surface-area activated alumina impregnated with potassium permanganate (KMnO₄), which oxidizes and neutralizes contaminants through a chemical reaction rather than simple physical adsorption.
It is widely used in air purification systems, odor control units, gas treatment plants, museums, hospitals, wastewater treatment facilities, commercial buildings, industrial process plants, and HVAC systems.
Impregnated Activated Alumina. This is highly porous material this material can have a surface area significantly over 200 square metres/g. High quality High crush strength power, which limits dusting, is important during loading of desiccant towers. High crush strength makes alumina effective as a prebed material when used with other types of desiccants.
Application
Impregnated Alumina has strong oxidizing property with Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4), it has good efficienty in removing Hydrogen Sulfide(H2S) , Chlorine(Cl2), Formaldehyde(HCHO), Nitric Oxide (NO) & Sulfur Dioxide(SO2) from air.
